The ‘Whispering Nile’ offers private, stand alone, premiere rustic accomodation nestled in the stunning foothills of the Ben Lomond range.

The cottage is completely set up for your stay with a fully equipped kitchen & dining area walking into a seperate lounge room equiped with a real flame, decorative fireplace and fully stocked minibar.

The main bedroom sleeps two people in secluded queen sized comfort, with window views over the surrounding countryside.

Adjacent to the kitchen sits a stairwel leading to an open loft offering a seperate sleeping area for two. Perfect for children and/or additional guests.

The sprawling yards surrounding the cottage boast breathtaking rural views which are frequented by a bevy of native wildlife and a rangale of local deer.

The surrounding outdoor balcony is fitted with a wood fired pizza oven, bbq, and bar fridge. This is offset by a sheltered undercover area designed for relaxing, dining, or simply sitting by the chiminea under the stars.

The area invites you to experience freshwater swimming holes, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, world class fly fishing, or just simply watching the magnificent sunsets fall upon the range surrounding this gorgeous cottage every evening.

We are situated only 20 minutes from Launceston airport, 15 minutes to Evandale township, and 30 minutes from Launceston.

Complimentary homemade breakfast includes freshly baked bread, locally sourced bacon, eggs, and conserves, with homestead meals and produce available upon request.

Excellent location, feels like you’re miles away but still accessible. Fresh bread, bacon & eggs on arrival! Cottage is amazing, rustic with a farm feel. The host was lovely and very accomodating.

So unique and peaceful
Such a unique property if you’re looking for something with charm and character. A short drive from historic Evandale or even Launceston. It’s a great option if you want to get out of the town and into some fresh air. Felt like we were a million miles away, and even saw an echidna and deer in the backyard.
