High above the ocean, this contemporary two-bedroom cottage provides sweeping coastal views, stunning sunsets, and a canopy of starry skies.
Overlooking the entrance to Deep Cove, and out towards Chester, Nova Scotia, this secluded four-season cottage offers an idyllic escape, ideal for a romantic couple's getaway or a tranquil retreat from the everyday.
Located at the highest point in Deep Cove, Sea Bound No. 2 is perfectly positioned to capture the afternoon sun and evening sunsets.
While sea breezes and a mini-split keeps the cottage cool during summer months, the sun-drenched window-wall and propane stove provides warmth for a cozy winter escape.
The simple design offers two bedrooms, a full-sized bathroom, and an open-plan living and kitchen area. The living space boasts floor-to-ceiling ocean views, a propane stove for chilly days, and an inviting full-length window seat, perfect for daydreamers and avid readers. For those who prefer a duvet day on the couch, there's also a flat-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi and a quality sound bar for entertainment.
The well-appointed kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, stove/range, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as much of the cookware you'll need to prepare your favourite meals, or picnics to enjoy on a nearby beach.
Across from the kitchen, a patio door will lead you to a sunny stone terrace, complete with your own private four-seater Beachcomber hot tub, Adirondack chairs, and panoramic views across the ocean.
The main bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, closet for your belongings, as well as a sliding patio door that connects you to the terrace and hot tub. The second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, skylight, closet for your belongings, as well as the full-sized washer/dryer. Both bedrooms share a full-sized bathroom with a shower including rain head, and heated towel warmer.
The cottage is situated on 4.5 acres of mostly treed land. You are welcome to explore the surrounding woods, but please be cautious as there are no established paths. Please do not try getting to the shore as it is incredibly steep in sections and not safe.
Please note that there are two cottages located on site that share a driveway and parking area, but are separated by a large rock - we kindly ask that you respect your neighbour's privacy during your stay.
We are located about 40 minutes away and are readily available during your stay to assist or answer any questions.
