Very clean room. I felt that bed was comfortable, but my husband didn’t. And my mother in law in her own room did not sleep well because of bed. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy.

Although the hotel advertises shuttle service with a surcharge and english speaking, i was told by the front desk that "No shuttle, get taxi". When i arrived, the busy dinner waiters were asked to speak english to me because the front desk staff couldn't. My luggage was lost for a day and a half so that compounded the issue of the lack of english speaking

Warm and inviting despite Renovations...

We had a nice visit, staying in Delitzsch (a charming place) while visiting Leipzig for a couple of days. The hotel was undergoing renovations so it felt a bit incomplete, but the staff were so friendly and accomodating that it made up for any shortcomings. Breakfast Buffet was excellent and we highly recommend the Restaurant for dinner.

man bekommt das Niveau, wofür man bezahlt

Das Hotel hat bei Hotels.com eine Bewertung von 8,4 (sehr gut) und sollte mit befriedigend bewertet werden. Ich kann mir nicht erklären, wo die Hotelgäste übernachtet und gefrühstückt haben, die ein sehr gut vergeben haben. Die Übernachtung in einem Einzelzimmer kostet mit Frühstück ca. 80 EUR und man bekommt als Gast in etwa die Gegenleistung, die man für 80 EUR inkl. Frühstück erwarten kann. Die Zimmer sehen nicht so aus, wie auf der Seite von Hotels.com dargestellt, sondern so wie auf der Hotel-eigenen Homepage gezeigt: https://www.hotel-zumweissenross.de/ und das entspricht auch den von mir angehängten Fotos. Die Restaurant-Fotos auf Hotels.com sind nicht der Frühstücksraum der Hotelgäste, sondern von einem griechischen Restaurant, welches sich im gleichen Gebäude befindet. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung (befriedigend), aber ich habe in den letzten 25 Jahren meiner Geschäftsreisen und Privatreisen in viele Länder dieser Erde noch nie für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück bezahlt und dann eine Kaffeemaschine mit einem Münzschlitz gesehen, wo man 2 EUR einwerfen soll. Unglaublich, deshalb hier auch das Foto der Maschine angehängt. Filterkaffee oder Tee sind im Frühstückspreis inklusive. Die Rezeption ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für die 58 Zimmer (laut Homepage) gibt es 12 kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Gebäude, die ab 18 Uhr voll sind. In der Umgebung findet man Parkplätze 5-10 min Fussweg entfernt, wo man zwischen 18 Uhr und 8 Uhr morgens kostenlos parken kann.
