First, thank you to Daryl & Mary for sharing their beautiful property.From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt warm and inviting, tucked into a peaceful corner of the land. Inside, we were welcomed with delicious baked goods—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. It’s clear the hosts genuinely care about making guests feel at home. The living room was perfect for relaxing, with views of tall trees and an open cornfield where we even spotted a hawk or eagle hunting—an unforgettable sight.The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, far beyond most rentals. It had everything we needed: cookware, utensils, seasonings, foil for grilling, and even bottled water. The grill was easy to use and made outdoor cooking especially enjoyable, surrounded by birdsong and quiet woods.The property itself is stunning. A serene creek sits at the bottom of a steep hill, with natural tree bridges and plenty of shade from mature trees. It felt untouched and incredibly peaceful.There’s also plenty to do: a hot tub under the stars, a game-filled garage with ping pong and darts, and a basement pool table with a TV. Families will appreciate the extra beds and toys as well.One highlight was the sturdy swing at the edge of the property—we spent more time there than expected.Overall, our stay was exactly what we needed: peaceful, refreshing, and memorable. We’d love to return, especially in the fall. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend!

Immaculate property and well maintained. It looks brand new and well designed. We loved the long driveway between tall rows of corn, and the cabin is secluded from any other properties. Very private. I love the rocking chairs on the front porch to watch the sunrise, and the Adirondack chairs on the back deck to read a book in the afternoon. There were always deer somewhere in the mornings and evenings to watch. Furniture in the living room was very comfy - especially because I prefer recliners. Very spacious cabin. Lots of welcoming touches - smores ingredients, fresh pastry in the frig and extra toiletries in case we forgot something. The host was very responsive before, during and after. We would definitely rent from them again. I wish there had been a handrail on the front porch, in the shower, and down to the basement, but the host has said they have plans to add them, which I think would be of great benefit. I can't wait to rent here again next time we are in town for a Boilers game. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a close-by stay for Purdue access, or just as a getaway vacation. Thanks so much!

The property was exactly as advertised. Actually, nicer! The cabin is very well equipped and the hosts left us a delicious pastry tray from a local bakery, a very welcoming touch! It's beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It is a little off the beaten path but Maps brought us right to the front door. Mary Ann was very helpful with any questions we had. Love at first sight! Absolutely perfect!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away! Pictures do not do this place justice. This space is warm, cozy, and nostalgic with rustic decor and well-appointed furniture and lighting. Every room was well equipped with every comfort and convenience of home, plus unexpected extras. The area is secluded and very private. It felt as though we were the only people around. The property is so peaceful and quiet with lots of beautiful foliage and wildlife. We especially enjoyed the abundance of hummingbirds and butterflies fluttering around. We also loved the many amenities, from the hot tub and rocking chairs on the front porch to the retro pool table and arcade size Atari video game! It was so serene at night around the campfire, and the covered double glider was quite soothing. The hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond to communication. They were very kind and accommodating, and Mary Ann gave us a lot of great suggestions for local areas of interest. They absolutely thought of everything! This property far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I enjoyed some much needed R&R and time reconnecting, and Cabin Life fit the bill perfectly! Thanks again, Mary Ann and Daryl. We will definitely be back!
