A Grand old Hotel with a beautiful Garden

After an initial two days of horror with construction outside window was upgraded to a very pleasant room overlooking a quiet pool. The room was good and the man doing the cleaning was excellent. The main pool area could do with some updating and a more active waiter.The beachside restaurant was great but some of the food was hit and miss. The Guest relations person was excellent. It was comparatively expensive and I think there is better value for your buck available in Sanur. The gardens are fabulous and the many gardeners do a great job.

A good choice for a Sanur weekend away

Great location. Great staff. Comfortable bed. Simple breakfast options. Hotel facilities are a bit old compared to other equivalent resorts on the Sanur strip.

First time we’ve stayed in Sanur in the almost 40 years going to Bali and not disappointed. The Griya is in a great spot, so clean, a couple of pools, on the beach. Will stay again.

Property and rooms were lovely although some updating was being done time of our stay, which could be bit noisy but I understand we were there in quiet season and work needs to be done.

I wanted to sleep with the air conditioner on low or off but when I did that everything in the room became wet with condensation: my clothes, electronics, the floor, the bed sheets became damp. I almost fell out on the wet floor. I turned the air conditioning back on but it didn’t really dry out before I left. The food wasn’t great, but I only tried a few things. The wait staff was not happy to be there. I did have a nice massage and a walk down the boardwalk. The views are really nice. I watched a gorgeous sunrise.,
