Decent Hotel At A Decent Price

Check in and out very easy. Nice breakfast buffet. Rooms are a tad cozy and not the thickest of walls. Enjoyed the view of downtown. Slept well even though there were a couple of first responder sirens. Only negative is there aren’t a lot of dining options close by. Expect to use delivery for that. I’d stay here again

We were very upset when we arrived after the stated check in time and the front desk person told us they didn''t have a room ready because they were "fully booked" the day before. When we asked how long it would take she said she had no idea. After sitting there for about 45 minutes watching her check other people into their rooms I complained again in front of the line of guests and then she finally gound us a room. Will never stay thete again

Excellent

Excellent stay but the room was warm due to air conditioning issues. They gave us a fan which helped. Everything else is great, new & the breakfast buffet was the best included buffet we’ve ever had.

There was drug dealings around the property and the staff was rude to me! They escorted me off the property, refused to let me eat my food that DoorDash delivered to me at that I paid for and I am.type 2 diabetic! They allowed someone to enter my room while I was sleeping with no shirt on to out a fan in there with no a/c on the 6th floor! And I want my $50 deposit back now please!

The air conditioning in the rooms did not work (the temp in Denver was 100 several days that we were there, and when you complained to the front desk the reply was "it is an old building" which it really wasn't. We had a problem with the toilet backing up and notified the Front Desk and left a Voice Message, when the phone system worked. We were ignored and it was still backed up when we got back to the room 12 hours later. I did get someone to unclog it but did not flush when used at 3:00 AM the following day. I was told that I could use the rest room in the fitness center two floors down and someone would be up at 7:00. They did arrive but did not fix the problem. I had to address the issue myself and told the person who tried to fix the problem AND THE Front Desk that they needed a Plumber to look at the issue and not just the building handyman. I'm sure I was ignored. There is a real problem with the management of the facility and their treatment of and lack of caring for it's guests and is a disgrace to the Holiday Inn Brand.

In the summer heat, the air conditioning was out for either the whole building, or just the section my room was in. The three nights I stayed, the temperature in my room was 79°F, 81°F, and 80°F. They gave me a voucher off the bill, which I appreciated. However, Expedia promised me free parking, and I was charged almost the full price of the voucher they gave me for 2 nights my car was parked there, and the 1 night my car was parked in a repair shop. Neither Expedia nor the hotel is taking responsibility for the parking charges.
