Historic property. Pretty to look at. But systems a bit outdated and clunky. Hit water not ver hot. Heating system struggles to really warm up the room. Be prepared to wait for the elevator. Good for leisure travel but for business I would go for less pretty but more functional. Nice staff though and the food quite good.

Terrific stay

This was my first time here. Fantastic stay. Room was comfortable but that’s not key, usually every room is good. The things that make this place amazing for me were: staff attitude, always friendly and engaging, coffee all the time for free and infused water with option for paid fancy coffees. There’s also a terrific breakfast/brunch option and super yummy dinner option. They also have a car service to help for short distances. It was very cold during my stay and that was a terrific option to have. And when can you say the shower water pressure is good? I’ve never had proper pressure before. Here it’s amazing! I will definitely be booking again next year.

This is my favorite hotel when i stay in Denver. The hotel and rooms are comfortable and cozy. The location is terrific. The staff is great. The only downside is that the hotel restaurant menu is limited in the evenlng. The breakfast is nice. You get free coffee and water in the lobby, which is handy. Definitely recommend it.

Pleasant Surprise

My wife and I were in Denver to attend the Ballet at the DCPA, we usually stay at the Embassy Suites on Stout St. we have eaten at the Nickle before and were pleased with our meals. I decided to book a room at the Hotel Teatro this trip and I am very glad we did the hotel is lovely, we had a very nice corner room, the staff was outstanding and we enjoyed yet another meal at the Nickle

Birthday celebration

Spent the weekend in downtown Denver for my partners 53 rd birthday. Hotel Teatro was great. They had a very sweet card and a bottle for us to celebrate in the room when we arrived. The room itself could use a little improvement, it had some things that weren't in the best shape, specifically the bathroom. The front desk staff was awesome! Very friendly and they gave us great dinner recommendations. The bar staff was also great! Made our night super fun. Hotel location was good too. Would recommend!

Hotel is an old building and very charming. We stayed on the 9th floor because the listing said it had a balcony. Note that the balcony is very cool, but it is not necessarily private. The balcony wraps around the entire top floor, so you can walk around and pass everyone else's rooms (although I did not see any other humans out on the balcony during our stay. If you are on the West side of the building, you will have a view of the mountains (we were on the East and saw buildings). The bathroom was great, loved the spa shower and bath tub. The coffee shop in the lobby is excellent. Also the Nickel restaurant had nice breakfast food for purchase. The staff was so friendly and helpful. A few small complaints.. The mattress was lower at the head than the feet, from what seemed to be many years of use. We stayed during some snow and the room got very cold at night - the the thermostat read 62 degrees even though we had it set to 80. I am guessing this might be due to the building being old and drafty. Both of these resulted in less than desirable sleeping conditions. Complimentary breakfast included orange juice and a burrito. Both days we tried to get burritos they were out of regular ones and only had vegan and gluten free options available. I had a little bit of an upset tummy after the gluten free burrito, although it was tasty. I would stay here again, but next time ask for a West facing room and check on the mattress condition and thermostat.

This hotel is beautiful. We have stayed many times. The front desk staff during this visit was very quiet, difficult to understand, and did not share about the amenities available to guests. We had to ask about each amenity on property and had no guidance about hotel information. They also were unsure about our Expedia benefits. Hoping for an improvement in the check in experience.
