Brand new and built in 2022, The Retreat is a rare, truly luxurious 8 bedroom/8 bathroom property that is able to provide resort-style quality for your large group or family getaway. Sitting in the center of Destin’s hottest attractions, you will be on the same street (3 min walk) as world-famous white sand beaches and over 100 shopping, restaurant, and entertainment venues.

The unique features of this property include 7 king en-suites, 1 Bunk Room en-suite (2 full-over-queen), private access to the backyard’s saltwater Pool & Spa, 6 free bicycles, Gigablast WiFi, and an amenities pack that consists of toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, and dishwasher/laundry pods to make you feel right at home.

Brand new (2022) and situated on the same street as Destin’s famous Crystal Beach and shopping/entertainment center, Destin Commons, The Retreat at Crystal Beach is the ideal combination of class and accessibility for your Emerald Coast getaway. Showcasing over 4,200 SF, discover The Retreat’s spacious, open-style downstairs and upstairs living rooms, shiplap walls, luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, quartz countertops, tiled showers, saltwater pool & spa experience, and all the high-end features expected in a beach house of this caliber.

Exterior

Equipped with a Fully Customized Pool & Spa Experience, the backyard features a large heated saltwater pool with a mood lighting system that automatically turns on at night. Built into the pool, you will find a saltwater hot tub that features the same mood lighting and a waterfall that flows into the pool below, creating a relaxing, true spa atmosphere.

With a 9ft privacy fence around the entire yard, oversized dining table under the back porch, luxury outdoor kitchen with grill/fridge/big screen TV, outdoor shower, and plenty of seating around the pool, the backyard is primed for great cookouts and downtime after a long day at the beach and exploring the Emerald Coast.

The front of the house features enough parking for 8 standard-sized vehicles, provides 6 bike cruisers, and has porches on the ground and upper levels with seating available to hear and feel the warm ocean waves and breeze.

Interior

The inside of The Retreat is one of the few properties that can comfortably accommodate its maximum occupancy of 20. You will not find pull out couches in the middle of living rooms and daybeds stuffed into bedrooms attempting to cram in as many people as possible. Instead, this property features 8 large bedrooms with 8 en-suite bathrooms.

7 of these bedrooms boast king-sized beds with high-end mattresses, bed linens, pillows, 50” smart TV’s, and luxury bathrooms with fully-tiled showers and large quartz vanities. The bunk room is oversized, and is fitted with 2 full-over-queen bunk beds that consist of the same high-end mattress, bed linens, and pillows as the other 7 bedrooms. Attached to this room is another en-suite bathroom with a tiled shower and quartz double vanity.

The main level of this home was built to encompass an open concept design with the kitchen, dining area, and living room being a perfect place for conversation, entertainment, and family-style dining. Along with the 3 King bedrooms on the main level, The Retreat also provides a pantry next to the kitchen with enough food storage for large meals, as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer.

The upper level of The Retreat invites you and your group to kick back and relax after a long day in the sun. Alongside the 5 en-suites upstairs (4 King/1 Bunk Room), you will immediately be greeted with a large and welcoming entertainment area that is perfect for watching movies, playing games, or taking an afternoon power nap to prepare for the evening. Located next to the entertainment area is an upstairs kitchenette/bar area with a sink, beverage refrigerator, and Keurig coffee machine, making the space perfect for hosting.

The Retreat at Crystal Beach is located in the prime location in all of Destin. Situated on the same street that leads south to the main entrance of Destin’s famous Crystal Beach and north to the area’s best shopping/entertainment center, Destin Commons, this property is a 3 min walk to world-famous white sand beaches and over 100 shopping, restaurant, and entertainment venues. The Retreat is also located just a block away from, and adjacent to, the popular Scenic Highway 98, where you can find award-winning seafood restaurants and oceanfront dining.

Great Stay at The Retreat – We’ll Be Back!

We were 19 people (4 families) staying for 4 nights, and The Retreat was a perfect fit. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk to the beach, or 2–3 minutes if you use the provided bikes or golf cart. The layout of the house is great, with plenty of space for everyone, and the outdoor area is well set up, especially the grill area where we spent a lot of time.The owner was super responsive and helped us with anything we needed throughout the stay.Only small downside was the hot tub jets—they weren’t very strong. But honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience.We’ll definitely be coming back.

We had a family reunion! Ages 2-93!The restreat was perfect- pool was big enough for the 9 kids to play and adults also!House was great-all rooms are big with comfy beds- 2 nice sized living areas! Kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and dishes.Loved the golf cart- transported chairs and the to beach. Lots of rides with kiddos. Many memories were made!! Matthew was perfect host! Answered quickly and helped with a couple minor issues.

The perfect getaway stay

We booked this as a last minute trip for our family of 5. Thomas was the perfect host. Extremely responsive, full of information for us first visitors to Crystal Beach(Destin) and flexible on our late arrival time and late check out. We basically picked the place for the heated pool and golf cart that were included in the price, which were the family favorites by far, but were blown away with the house itself when we got there. It is new, clean, extremely spacious. Every room is a big great size with a full bathroom, tvs, etc. There was a perfect amount of blankets for night movie watching, towels for the beach and pool, chairs and toys for the beach/pool to keep everyone entertained for the week. It is beautifully decorated in a classy coastal decor that makes you feel relaxed as you head to your own paradise in the back yard oasis with plenty of seating with umbrellas for sun or shade, the large pool with spillover hot tub perfectly heated and clean, beautiful landscape and lighting, also on a timer so you can see it’s beauty. Having the golf cart in the driveway ready to go was such a highlight of the trip. It was an easy quick access to the beach with golf cart parking lot, drive to restaurants, shops, to take pictures at the beach. We will definitely be back with more people to fill the rooms next time.

Destin Family Reunion 2024

This property is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. It was comfortable, family friendly, and enough room for all 22 of us. The rooms were all very spacious and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Too many positives to mention!!! The host tried really hard to get us in early, but because of damages from the previous people, it was impossible. Not only that, the owner called me that first day to let me know the handy man would be by to fix things broken. He was a joy to talk to for sure!! The communication was easy and quick. The golf cart was a huge win. I was worried being not right on the beach, but we rented two extra golf carts (so we had three for all of us), and it was perfect. The pool and the spa made it fine being away from the beach. The beach wasn't even far away. It was an easy walk, bike ride, or golf cart trip. The bikes were another win!! We ABSOLUTELY loved this property. They have everything you might need. The only issue was the fridge. It took a while to catch up with all the food that we put in it that first night. To the owner, I might recommend a rug by the back door for when people come in from the pool to the restroom to avoid slipping. We just used one of our beach towels. Because of this place, I won't hesitate not being right on the beach again. This was the best of everything!!!! Highly recommend this property!

Great location. .2 to Beach and .3 to Destin Commons. We stayed from Dec. 28 - Dec. 31. Pack extra 13 gallon trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap for 8 bathrooms when staying 3 or more days. The heated pool was great. Spa was cool for adults. We would stay here again. Fantastic home

This property was everything we hoped for and more. It had all the accommodations and was very clean. The house was even bigger than anticipated which was awesome. The beds and sheets were beyond comfortable. The bikes and golf cart were so fun to have, but we were so close to everything we could easily walk too. This is a perfect space for any group, young or old and look forward to coming back with my kids so they can enjoy the pool as much as we did! You will not regret tending this beautiful home.

This property exceeded our expectations! This home is GORGEOUS, so well thought out, so spacious...the pictures do not do it justice. Communication with owner was prompt and thorough. EXCELLENT ALL AROUND!

I have stayed at several beach houses with my dance team and this is by far the best experience we have had! Gorgeous house and perfect location! It was close enough to the beach that we could walk but my girls loved having the bikes and the adults loved the golf cart 😂 It’s in such a great area that we felt comfortable letting the girls ride the bikes even to get ice cream. The inside was decorated beautifully and the outside area was fabulous! Thomas was so nice and was in communication with us making sure we had everything we needed. We definitely hope to be back next year with our team but hopefully sooner with my own family!

Our group of 24 people absolutely enjoyed our stay at The Retreat. The house was brand new, very spacious, clean, fully stocked in terms of bath supply, towels, bed & linen, Kitchen utensils and Dishes, even including board games. Bicycles and the Golf cart helped us get around to shops or beach which were really not that far. The host very flexible and responsive. We spent a lot of time at the Swimming pool and the backyard and they helped us to create great memories with our friends and family.

A beautiful place to make memories!

My group enjoyed our stay at this property. The property manager was quick to respond to any problem that might have occurred and was always willing to help. The photos honestly do not do this property justice. The space felt even bigger than it looked in the photos. Having the large furniture inside and out was wonderful and allowed our entire group to sit together during meals and down time. The beds were extremely comfy. The location is perfect! Short golf cart ride to the beach or the Publix grocery store. You can’t go wrong with this house!

Our stay here was amazing . This property looks better in person . The host went above and beyond for us as some things out of their control happened . They did everything to make the situation right . We had a family of all ages and it was perfect . The backyard is amazing to host nice outside bbq while enjoying the family . This house is equipt with everything that is needed to enjoy the beach . I would recommend anyone booking with them my family and I will surely be making this our family vacation home when we visit Destin !

The perfect place!!

Our family has 18 members who could attended one Destin this year. We had an absolute awesome stay at this property. The pool was perfectly sized for a large group with plenty of room. The house layout was ideal and everyone had room to spread out. It was everything promised. Communication with our host was timely and responsive. Thank you just a great time had by all.
