Welcome to our piece of Paradise - Sand, Shells & Sunburn located on Holiday Isle at The Islander Destin Resort - Unit 206. The unit has been transformed and fully remodeled for your family to enjoy all the amenities of home while on vacation. From the emerald white sand beaches to pristine crystal-clear water w/complimentary beach set-up 2 chairs & umbrella for your stay, our unit has been decorated with a local flair of shells (which were all found at the Jetty in the off-season) and painted coastal light grey color with tasteful decorations.
The kitchen has been remodeled with grey cabinets, a black and white granite countertop, with all new Whirlpool stainless steel appliances. In addition to the standard kitchen dinnerware, cookware and utensils (including grilling items); we have added a Keurig, a toaster oven, crock-pot and wine rack on the counter for easy storage and access on vacation. You can enjoy dinner in the dining room or belly up to the granite bartop for a cocktail on the twin comfortable swivel bar stools.
The living room room includes new queen sleeper sofa and 2 of the most comfortable swivel-rocker recliners you’ll ever nap in. Custom made black walnut coffee table w/matching end tables with ½” glasstops compliment the theme and color. The hall tree offers 3 large baskets and hooks for the oversized beach towels to store all of your beach gear after a long day of fun as flip-flops and beach bags easily stored underneath. A 58” smart TV w/cable option so you can sign in from your home account and enjoy watching your favorite shows if the “Destin Bubble” bursts.
The primary bedroom has a comfortable King-sized bed with an on-suite walk-in tile shower w/niche and seat. The master bath has matching granite countertop w/kitchen and has a stackable W/D unit, which provides our guests the ability to enjoy your vacation with less packing, and do laundry at your convenience in your room. A 38” TV with cable is mounted to enjoy comfortable viewing from your bed.
The guest bedroom features a Queen-sized frame nestled under custom built-in super single bunk beds. A 32” TV with DVD player and cable are available when the kids need a little down-time. The second bathroom has a tub and glass doors w/shower, as well as matching granite countertop of the kitchen and master bath.
The deck is optimal for viewing the Tiki Hut grill garden and observing the pool. You will wake up and enjoy your coffee and watch the boats and dolphins every day in the Gulf. It is the perfect balcony to take in the salt air and enjoy the views. Our wi-fi extender allows you to enjoy your phones and service at the beach too.
We hope you enjoy our unit as much as we do, while you are on your vacation. Please drop us a review in our guest book on the coffee table (we love to hear from everyone who stays in our unit). We provide 6 large beach towels, bath towels, washcloths and initial soap, shampoo & conditioner. The kitchen has dishwasher pods, soap, paper towels, a sponge and 2 trash bags for set up.
