Oceania House

5 / 5
Oceanía house is one-of-a-kind. It is a historic property on Home Island known as the "Big House"and had large rooms made with dark mahogany. There property is a little run-down, but it has comfortable rooms and beds, loads of hot water, ice cold air conditioning, and is a great place to stay. It's not a luxury hotel. There is a great room which doubles as a shared kitchen, dining room, and sitting room. It's doors are always open to the outside and there's a fan but no A/C. We liked spending evenings here. Rahat is there currently property manager, and he'll help you with anything. Great guy. Just outside are beautiful beaches and blue seas. We liked the beach at the sailing club, it has better reefs. If your calendar permits, take the ferry to Direction Island and snorkel in The Rip - it's the best snorkeling we've done.
