4 / 5
It’s a gorgeous property and was spotless. The food was good. The front desk, wait staff and cleaning staff were very professional and helpful. Overall I had a nice stay.
It doesn’t get 5 stars because they forgot to pick me up from the airport and only sent the driver when I got outside, found no one waiting for me and called to ask, which took another 45 minutes. Luckily I had a working sim, I speak French and I’m familiar with Abidjan. This could have gone sideways for someone else. Definitely not a good first impression.
Also, there don’t seem to be porters? Upon check-in the lovely Lydia at the front desk had to carry my bag up to my room and upon checkout, I brought my bag down and even loaded it into my cab myself.
Not quite a 5-star experience - it was nice but missed the mark.
