Hotels with Shopping in Kent

Hotel was very clean,staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but the quality of cooked food could have been better. We went for a wedding which was lovely. We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. I would have thought as a main wedding venue that this should have been a priority under the circumstances. The plus side is if you love the beach it is just across the road.

Here again for another cycling race at Gravesend. There are closer hotels, and we are only here for the electricity, but without that tie, would we still stay here? Well looked after and made to feel at home, so probably yes.

There are many good things about this hotel and I would stay here again. My negatives were although the cooked options were good why does a four star establishment provide mostly tinned fruit at breakfast and yogurt in tubs. You used to be better than this. I also went for a swim at 6.30pm on a Friday to find that two thirds of the pool was taken by classes. I found that there is a list available for club members but not hotel guests. I could also have been informed as I went to get changed but instead sat by the poolside for a wasted 30 minutes and could not use the facility for exercise. Not surprisingly I was less than happy. This review is not to help travellers plan better but for staff to provide a better environment for those guests.
