Lamar County accommodation from NZ$96

When we arrived they did not have a suite available, which is what we reserved. They offered us a queen with sofa bed and a roll away. It was late so we decided to stay. The bed would hardly come out of the sofa and the roll away had to be placed touching the side of the sofa bed… very uncomfortable situation for a grandma and grandson. I slept at an angle and upside down on the mattress to make the bed even work. The walls and curtains were dirty with filth of unknown origin. The bathroom trim was missing from the sink. We were so worried about cleanliness we did not even shower. The worst place we have ever stayed !!!!

I liked that the rooms are large. There was enough room for passing each other without bumping into each other in the room. The refrigerator in the rooms would be great if it had a freezing shelf. We had small ice packs for sandwiches on the road while visiting relatives. Breakfast ending too soon. While on vacation we get up around 9:00 am. Breakfast is over at 9:00am. We never got the chance to experience the breakfast. Hence fixed sandwiches for the road. There were adequate markets and restaurants in the area. The area felt safe and comfortable.

Hotels.com overcharged for the rooms after the original room rate. They also upped the number of guest by 1 per day. I will never use Hotels.com again.
