Municipality of Bergen accommodation from NZ$120

This is a great location for Bergen and the low-priced self parking is a huge benefit in an area with little parking options. The staff is also especially friendly. The room is clean and adequate but can be noisy and stuffy on warmer days. A small fan is provided but you likely need to have the window open which can add to the noise and temperature regulation issue through the night. There were some minor maintenance issues in the bathroom (slow drain in shower, toilet lever needed some adjustments intermittently or it would stop working, and the hand soap dispenser was not functioning.). A mini fridge would be a nice addition to the room (it looks like it probably had one in the past). The internet was quite good and reliable and the work desk very appreciated. It could use some updates to the outlets at either the bed or desk to accommodate USB demands. The bed, pillows, sheets, and towels were extremely clean but also very minimal in size and quality. All serviceable but not quite comfortable or exceptional in anyway. The mattress was very clean but is also a foam style mattress, which may give some trouble as it runs a little warm and is not as supportive as traditional ones. The breakfast is basic but reliable and plentiful each day should you choose to use it. The property is walking distance from almost everything in central Bergen, but because of the factors above is likely best for a shorter stay vs anything beyond 3 nights.

We had a great stay, enjoyed rest in the middle of a bicycling trip. The soaking tub saved my life. We will be back!

Its dated.. needs a good refurbishment to bring it up to date
