Municipality of Demir Hisar accommodation from NZ$64

The location is beautiful; overlooks Lake Ohrid. The room was clean. The hotel itself was in disrepair. Paint peeling off the wall of our room, baseboards missing or damaged. All though they advertised a roof terrace, there was no seating and they were using it to store building supplies. The hotel staff was helpful and polite, however the restaurant staff acted like they couldn’t be bothered to wait on us and their staff was smoking at one of the tables in the restaurant.

Luxurious hotel for a very good price! Everything is technogically automated, which means there are rarely any staff present, but that was actually a good thing. It felt like coming home to your own apartment, but with great cleaning service! Clean, modern, rooms with super nice bathroom and air conditioning. And the location right by Sofia church is just so excellent. Right in the middle of Ohrid old town. Everything is a walking distance away. No need for a hotel breakfast when you have so many great cafés all around. The lounge room in the hotel have free coffee, fruits, and cookies, which was surprisingly good! We will come back to Villa Varosh next summer again!

Nice little boutique hotel. Located in the old town with no car access so we had a hard time with our luggage but the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us. There is no elevator and there are steep stairs to the room - a bit difficult for adults although we managed in the end. Quiet location, we had a balcony with a view and we really enjoyed it.
