We have overnighted at this hotel several times. Always well appointed, clean with great facilities and excellent catering. On this occasion, I have downgraded some of my answers because we were looking forward to dinner but there were 2 groups in the dining room alongside others. Unfortunately, the groups were enjoying themselves but were making so much noise that my wife and I could not hear each other or what the waiters were saying to us. We asked to be moved but there was nowhere to go!
Thanks to a very helpful receptionist we had a tray in our room. Not the evening dinner we had looked forward to.
I suggest that the hotel consider placing groups in a separate area to other diners.
No attempt was made in politely asking the groups to tone down their conversation and laughter to enable other diners to enjoy their dinner. It is obvious to me that groups will need to throw their voices in order to reach each other and is a very valid reason for suggesting that such groups are separated from other diners.
