Newer than its sister lodge in Naivasha, Sopa Nakuru is well laid out and perfectly situated at the top of one of the hills inside Lake Nakuru National park. This made for fantastic panoramic photis and exquisite sunsets. Excellent welcome on arrival with a drink and a warm flannel to clean up after the game drive. Good buffet selection for brakfast, lunch and dinner. Decently sized rooms although most of our time was spent either on a game drive or at the pool. Only issue was that some of the rooms are located on the lower end of the hill. There is a buggy shuttle service but its irregular and gets busy during meal times. Definitely recommend this as a destination from which to explore Lake Nakuru.
