Salt Cay accommodation

Magical place to stay, people are so friendly and everyone is peaceful, loved it.

The accommodations were delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The convenience of stepping onto the patio and seeing the beach was truly wonderful. Thank you so much for providing the golf cart; it made everything significantly easier, and the extra scuba gear you provided made exploring a breeze. I was overjoyed to meet the community; it was far more enriching than a simple day trip. I had the pleasure of meeting some people, exploring some locations, and truly making it my own. I eagerly anticipate returning. Your setup was ideal for any guest; it was clean, quiet, and we even befriended your companion, Port.

We stayed at the Last Resort in Feb, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Cathy was always easy to reach, and she not only picked us up at the airport but made sure we had a rental golf cart waiting for us. She gave us ample advice on logistics, including getting to Salt Cay and getting groceries/supplies.The house is beautifully restored and furnished and clearly taken care of with love. The pictures in the postings do not do it justice, as there are many more finishing touches and decorations than pictured. No A/C necessary, as the tropical breezes and fans keep the house quite comfortable. The kitchen has all the appliances and pots/pans/utensils you need, but we definitely recommend bringing fresh produce from Grand Turk/Provo or ordering in advance from the local grocer. The upper deck provides lovely views of the island and ocean on all sides. Although hot water in the bathroom was not working while we were there, Cathy made sure we had an alternative place for hot showers just around the corner (and honestly, the cool showers were not bad in the tropical climate).The island is very small and safe, so you quickly meet the locals (and friendly donkeys) and soak up the laid back vibe. We recommend a golf cart for convenience, making for quick trips to the dive shop/cafe, general store, Willy's bar, or for exploring the island's beautiful beaches and stark landscapes (bikes are provided at the house too). We would go back in a heartbeat!
