The Detmolder Hof is one of the best addresses when it comes to accommodation in Detmold. They have been around since… I don’t know when, but my grandfather used to take us there for dinner when we were visiting and even my parents celebrated their wedding there in 1972. The hotel retained it’s old school charm and luxuriousness, but still feels up to date. The staff is wonderful as well: welcoming and accommodating. (I needed an ironing board and iron, which was promptly provided and delivered to my hotel room). I would always choose this hotel again!

Eine außergewöhnliche Zimmer-ausstattung in sehr gutem Zustand, gepflegt und sehr wertig. Aber, man muss es mögen. Das Badezimmer ist erstklassig. Ich konnte leider nicht die hervorragende Küche des Hauses genießen, welche mir empfohlen wurde. Ich reiste viel zu spät an. Was auch problemlos ging. Personal sehr gut.

Nydelig opphold på klassisk hotel

Fantastisk opphold. Rommet var stort og raust med plass Vakkert dekorert med utsikt over gaten. Vinduene må ha vært nye fordi det var ikke lyd og høre fra gata selv om det var helg. Badet var supert med både badekar og dusj. Frokosten var veldig god, gode råvarer, selv om det ser lite ut. En kan be om omelett etc. Å legge inn en kveld på Jan’s restaurant er å anbefale.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, direkt in der Fußgängerzone

Wir waren für ein Wochenende im Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und äußerst geräumig. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und komplett ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend, aber nicht exclusiv oder außergewöhnlich. Leider störte bis 23.00h die laute Musik von dem Weihnachtsmarkt direkt vor dem Gebäude.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine Sauberkeit. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit einem ganz tollen Badezimmer (Dusche und Wanne, Toilette separat abgetrennt). Die geblümten Tapeten sind geschmacksache, passen aber zum Charme des Hotels. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und das Frühstück ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Das Angebot war reichhaltig und fern ab von diesem Einheitsstandart, den man von anderen Hotels kennt. Wir kommen gern wieder!
