Located very conveniently just north of the heart of downtown Royal Oak, we were surprised and very pleased at the free parking available in the ramp behind the hotel. Staff was courteous and helpful, room was clean and quiet, and the wifi internet was 'click and use' (no login/password) -- there really was nothing wrong that was under the control of the hotel mgmt. Highly recommended. PS - you are a 20-min, scenic car ride down Woodward Ave to the heart of Detroit. Go see it!

There are two major problems with this facility although it’s very nice very clean and looks like it’s brand new, they need to pay attention to how the doors open and close. All night long you hear doors slamming and people walking and talking and shouting in the hallway-they need to do more soundproofing. The second thing is that the water takes forever to heat up and it doesn’t actually get very hot; so you’re wasting a lot of water waiting for the hot/warm water to come through the pipes.
