Exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable.

I booked the stay last minute as other plans of mine fell through. I booked it based on reviews and was a little skeptical based on the price, but I couldn’t have been more pleased. Our room was spotless, all the common areas were very clean. The room smelled pleasant ( you know how many hotels have that cold kind of musty AC smell?) Not here it was great. And quiet. I will absolutely book here every time I’m in the area. It should honestly get a higher rating than it does.

Check-in was quick and perfect attendance at the counter was very professional. Breakfast in the morning for five bucks was excellent. The only complaint I has is that we were on the first floor in the room had a smell of wet dampness make the carpets have been wet or cleaned and not dry properly.

First room, door lock didn't work. 2nd room, room had not been cleaned from prior guest, 3rd room was "stolen" from a guest that hadn't yet arrived. We stayed here for 1 night to attend an event at Pine Knob Music Theater, location was ideal and only about 15 minutes to the theater. Front desk staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean. $5 for the breakfast which was fine for us. Would stay here again if in the area.

The location ,the price, cleanliness, ease of booking, good lighted parking lot. We stay at this location twice a year while attending an event in the area. It is perfect for us. We don't use the pool so I can't comment on that, but if you are looking for a clean hotel at a reasonable price in a good location with nice room layout I would highly recommend this hotel.

Terrible check in. The person at the desk seemed to be a trainee. She checked me in under someone else’s reservation, told me I had to pay with cash. I showed my Expedia reservation, that I had already paid with a credit card. The other employee found my reservation and completed my check in. We were put in a room with 2 double beds instead of the king room with pull out sofa I paid for. There were no towels on the room. I called the desk requesting towels, the employee asked if I wanted to come get towels. I asked for them to be brought to the room. 45 minutes later we still did not have towels. We had a late check in, so now it was well after midnight. My husband went to the desk to get towels, he was told they were in the dryer. They did pull towels out of the dryer to give to him. He asked why they didn’t let us know that it would be a while until they could deliver towels to us in the room, they had no answer to that. All in all a very disappointing stay. We have stayed in this location before, it is not far from the venue where we had attended a concert. Needless to stay, we will not be staying again.

Who needs towels anyway?

The front desk staff at this hotel are no nonsense, not wasting time on frivolities like “welcome”, “enjoy your stay”, or “I’m sorry I just sent you to the wrong room”. We were expecting a lot by having 2 rooms booked under the same last name and different first names. Really, how often do relatives travel together and stay in the same hotel? It’s too much to ask of someone you just woke from their nap or broke away from their phone scrolling. This hotel is committed to conservation with 2 sets of towels per 4 guests. Extra towels are on a “first come first served” basis. We were lucky enough to get the last towels in the hotel on arrival for a total of 3 sets, presented fresh from the dryer in a tangled pile. Since we are so picky about how our towels are folded, it was refreshing to have the opportunity to do it ourselves. Even better was the chance to air dry by the pool on a hot day. My sister-in-law had an added bonus on check in. She had to wait a little longer for this privilege, but she was allowed to participate in the hotel’s self inspection process, reporting back to them that the room was in fact not cleaned, with an unmade bed, dirty towels , and excrement in the toilet. She was given the option to downgrade from the suite she booked to a regular but clean room. Overall, this hotel was an adequate place to spend 2 nights although I think most people stay 1 night since the staff did not know how to program our keycards to work for more than 1 night. At any

We were in town for a family event that started well before check in and lasted until late in the evening. I called the hotel to make sure they held our reservation. I was asked to hold. Instead of placing my call on hold the agent set the phone down. I could hear his entire conversation with the other guest who was rather upset that his reservation wasn't held! We arrived around 1 am. I went up to the young lady and gave her my name and stated i was checking in. She never spoke. A young man appeared and stood behind her. At first i thought he may have been security. He didn't look like it but you never know. As she navigated the computer she would look at him and he would point to various items on the computer. He then handed us our keys and told us our room number. No directions as to what part of the hotel the room was in or the best place to park. We had to ask. The young lady never spoke. It was upwards of 90 degrees that day and our room was stifling. It felt like it took hours to eventually cool down. In the am i wanted to watch the news but the cable wasn't working. When we were walking the halls to leave we saw what appeared to be fresh drops of a blood trail (about the size of a quarter) along the hallway into the lobby. I attemped to check out, but nobody was working the desk. There was a sign that said to leave your key on the counter they would be back in 30 minutes. I hope no one needed assistance during that time because that time.

Good spot close to everything m. Pool was small and so loud my 3yr old never got a chance to get in. They could build it better
