Absolutely loved staying here! Staff was so nice and helpful. We ate at Ash Bar for our anniversary after seeing Lions game and everything was perfect. Food was excellent along with service. Definitely coming back here again in the summer too see a Tigers game. And it's a great place to stay as everything's within walking distance.

Disappointing
Truly a style over substance hotel. It is designed beautifully (or at least uniquely), but is lacking very basic hotel necessities. There wasn't even a coat hook in the room, which is ridiculous for Detroit in the winter. The rooms are very small for the price point. There was no desk, no light beyond the two lamps on either side of the bed (even though there were multiple switches that did nothing). The bathroom had very little surface space to put things or hang towels. Also a somewhat minor grievance- I am pretty tall and couldn't look at myself in either mirror without bending down. The staff is nice, although the coffee shop is absurdly slow, one morning the barista had taken a long break right when I got there around 8am, the other morning a pastry heating up took 10-15 minutes. Also they have an issue with the keys, both my room and a coworker's had other guests walk into them using their own keys by mistake. (The hotel didn't charge me for the night that that happened, which was nice). All in all, I will not be staying here again and do not recommend especially for anyone in town for work.
