The room was very clean, I was concerned it would be noisy due to location but it wasn’t! Room was a bit small but we weren’t in the room much so it was perfect for what we needed. The cafe was amazing also, valet and staff were phenomenal, we will be back!

The amazing view, cleanliness, gorgeous details in the room. Having two bars just from the lobby was awesome! We went to both places and loved each of them! Close walk to our venue for a concert too. Will be coming back forsure! Oh also the coffee bar in the lobby was SO GOOD!

The space is amazing. Classic, luxurious and sexy. The staff, especially Ivory at the front desk and the young lady at the coffee shop (the one who wears a head dress, sorry we missed your name), really stood out with their professionalism and kindness. The room was a great size, loved the decor, and the cleaning staff were attentive. Loved that there was a coffee shop/cafe, and a restarant in house - so convenient. We would absolutely stay again.

What a beautiful hotel! Loved the Candy Bar (make reservations ahead of time) and the Christmas decor made the lobby especially beautiful this time of year. Staff were very friendly! Location was perfect to walk to restaurants and Cadillac Square. I didn’t give it 5 stars because rooms are quite tiny (we got a deal, but wouldn’t want to pay full price for that size of room). Also despite this being an upscale hotel BOTH nights there were drunk people yelling on our floor which woke us up. Last night a woman was literally screaming and swearing at a guy to let her in to get her stuff around midnight.

The mattress is on the floor. What are we doing? Also no chair to sit in a $240 room ia wild. Stools don't count. But the coffee was good and shower stellar.

the room was great, the views were awesome. Only complaint was how dark the hallways were. The one that leads from the elevators to the lobby was pitch black when we left in the morning. other than that, love the vintage charm!

The whole mood and feel of this “ boutique “ hotel was eclectic, romantic, you felt you were in a different time period. Very “Moulin Rouge”. Greeting staff, warm, friendly and efficient. The darling little cocktail lounge called the “ Candy Bar” was tiny but dreamy, specialty cocktails worth their price. It was busy for a Tuesday night, mostly locals, nice calm atmosphere, dim lights glammy decor. Our room was tiny but it worked. 1920’s type decor. The bathroom…. Cool! Nice hot shower with a big rain shower head. Nice touches to a simple room with a good bed & linens. Plush towels and the scent of the hand soap was intoxicating. I felt the room was above average clean. You could hear outside noises, the tram… for me, it added to the charm of being in a city, marinating in a 1920’s/1930 vibe. We were a very short walking distance to the venue, Filmore Theater and The Fox Theater. We felt safe walking to and fro. The valet service was worth its own weight. Parking can be a nightmare in any city and costly. Although parking was $50, for me it’s worth it. So, with the valet, short walking distance to the theater, very reasonable room rate… it made it a seamlessly perfect outing for 2 middle aged country folk, going to the big city. The valet, Yousif was efficient and helpful retrieving our car, engaging and courteous as he sent us on our way. Cozy sitting areas.A little gem in the lobby for specialty coffee, pastries and other light fare. I would most certainly go back.
