The room was large we liked that and had a table so we were able to play games. Also liked the balcony. Never met anyone on the staff so hard to say if they were curtious or not. On Tuesday night you had an event (Queen of Hearts I think). When we cam back from hunting we were unable to find a parking place at least one that was anywhere near the hotel. It was very inconvienant. There should have been an area blocked off for guest staying there. We ended up going out to eat and coming back later that night. This is the reason I did not give you a 5 star rating.

We were surprised that there was no staff. But there was a phone number to call if there were issues. The whole check-in and checkout was done by I phone. The room was really small. Sufficient for a quick overnight stay but wouldn’t want to stay more than one night. There were no curtains on the window, blackout or otherwise, and the room was bright all night. Also, no place to sit in the room except the bed. It was clean except the bathtub was stained. It was fine for the price but wouldn’t want to pay more.

The room was clean, the property was relatively quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful at the bar relating to the room. The restaurant bar is nice with decent food. Pet friendly is a plus! Close to the lake, a nice walking trail to town, and if you are a side by side person the trail is right out front.
