Close but a little off

The lodge was simple and EXTREMELY close to Newgrance, which was nice. The bathroom had a aweful mildewy smell that wouldn't go away. Plus it was freezing cold even though we had the heat up as high as we possibly could in the room.

Good stay next to Newgrange/Knowth sites

We booked a family room and found it very comfortable. The breakfast was basic and the staff was friendly. They were able to provide us with a baby cot which was handy. The hotel is across the street from the entrance to the Newgrange/Knowth site.

Nous ne sommes resté qu'une nuit, heureusement, car la chambre était petite et très sombre (en rez de chaussée à l'arrière). La déco semble assez vieillissant et peu entretenu. par contre le petit déjeuner était copieux et de bon niveau.

The room we were given was large and roomy with a nice view. The lodge has a very inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Where breakfast is served, the rooms are filled with the charisma of the stone and wood from the original structure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, wonderful stay for our family.

Smell of damp

We stayed there for a wedding. Staff are lovely and overall it was nice. But bathroom was so mouldy I went home to shower. The smell of damp also was very strong. It is a shame as the place could be very nice .

Ideal für Familien und Ausflüge

Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom Visitorcenter, Umgebung traumhaft schön. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet (mit Etagenbetten), klein und sauber. Bad ist sehr klein. Frühstücksbüffet hervorragend.
