Burnside Hideaway is located at the centre of Dornoch making it the ideal place for someone to stay if using the public bus or private hire taxis upon arrival or departure, as the Stagecoach bus stop is no more than a 2 minute walk from the front door. The property is also very well lit at night due to the surrounding street lights.

Burnside Hideaway does have parking available for approximately 2 vehicles, depending on size, with additional on-street parking available in the surrounding area.

On the ground floor, guests are welcomed into a spacious lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Dornoch. The lounge is equipped with a large Smart TV, allowing guests to log in to their favourite streaming services and relax in comfort. Adjoining this space is a cosy, fully equipped kitchen, stocked with everything you could need for your stay—whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast or enjoying a relaxed evening meal at home. Also on the ground floor is a generous step-free shower room, offering convenience and accessibility.

The first floor hosts two inviting bedrooms and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The master bedroom features a zip ’n’ link bed, set as a Super-King by default, which can be configured as two singles if required, offering excellent flexibility for different group setups. The second bedroom is arranged as a twin, making it ideal for friends or younger guests. Both bedrooms are fitted with smaller TVs, providing a comfortable space to unwind at the end of the day.

Outside, guests have access to a large shared garden with plenty of space for children to play or pets to stretch their legs. Dornoch does not have a ScotRail train station; the nearest railway station is located in Tain.
