The hotel is really starting to show wear. Vending didn’t work. No lobby store. Couldn’t even get the front desk to offer me one. The bathroom needed better cleaning. The bed to me was not comfortable. No descent outdoors seating except one bench secluded. Pool gate locked. Would’ve a hotel that at least let’s you sit and enjoy the weather. Breakfast is a joke. The food was old and not good. Maybe a waffle would’ve been ok. Dry donuts. The coffee is good.

Perfect Stay, had everything I wanted

Great location, bed was so comfortable, pillows were a dream. Breakfast had many items, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, juices, milk, cereal, coffee, waffles, fruit, something for everyone. People pleasant & warm. Many nearby food places. Have stayed here before, will stay again.

Tripping hazard

Night check-in was adequate, room was decent, breakfast was quite nice. At check out, my vision impaired husband tripped over curb {it wasn't marked}, as I was checking out. I ran to him, then came back in to get receipt and clerk merely stated "Oh". She saw him on the ground. She didn't ask about his welfare or even offer ice for his bruised hands, wrist and knee.

The room was very clean, The property was nice and manicured. I wasn’t happy about the fact I was charged a $50 deposit for using a third party site (Expedia) to book my stay and damage deposit, I was not advised about any deposits. I advised the staff I never had any issues with any other stay facilities using third party booking. I was refunded the deposit at checkout or was advised it was a hold on my card for $50 until I checked out and room inspected. For this reason I gave rating a 4 star other than this all was ok.

Don't use this property if you have any delay whatsoever in your travel plans. They will cancel your entire booking if you miss the first night check-in. I showed up for my 2nd night to check in ,only to be told that I would have to rebook AND pay again for the room because I didn't call ahead of time to say I wasn't checking in the first night even though I PAID FOR IT. Expedia is also worthless as far as customer service after booking. I will definitely be using a different booking service moving forward.

Great spot & always economical than most

We've stopped at this Sleep Inn multiple times & it's always great... easy to stop, convenient off highway, always a welcoming staff ... beds are comfy & breakfast is good too. There's lots of places to eat & shop - we normally just have dinner after a long drive - sleep & go. Dothan is a safe area too.
