We were warmly welcomed by our host and were shown all of the kitchen amenities, common areas, and then our room. Our room was beautiful and elegant, and we had our own ensuite bathroom. It is conveniently located close to the Port of Dover (if you're taking the ferry). My only recommendation would be to add a foam topper to the bed for extra comfort... the bed was VERY hard and we both woke up stiff the next morning. Other than the bed, it was a beautiful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Churchill Guesthouse! We stayed in the Victoria Room, which features a charming little enclosed garden room off to the side. The decor was lovely, the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and we had the best night’s sleep listening to the rain. Alex greeted us upon arrival and was so welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area, he even helped us with our luggage. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend staying here!

Two nights in Dover.

We spent two nights in Dover. Hotel is within walking distance of the train station. Walked from the hotel along the cliffs of Dover on the day we arrived. Walked up to the castle on the second day. Close to downtown, don't miss the Dover museum. Host arranged for our taxi to the cruise port. Breakfast had many options.

My stay at the Churchill Guest House was wonderful! The owner was very friendly, informative, and helpful, with a lot of tips on what to see and do in the area. The room was quite comfortable, and the shared kitchen area had everything you needed for a great breakfast and all the items needed to prepare food for yourself at other times! This was the most attentive and beautiful guest house I have ever stayed in. The owner is so kind and accommodating, and the room and common areas are impeccable and unique. The Victoria King room truly has its own private sunroom and terrace. I almost didn't want to leave the guest house to see the sights because the room is so comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen amenities are great and there are grocery stores within 3 minutes by foot. I met wonderful and kind guests and even made friends. I am so glad to have found this guest house and would love to return.
Very comfortable bed with little water bottles and glasses refilled each day. The bedroom opens to a private sunroom.

This charming little guest house is within easily walkable distance to Dover Castle and downtown. The host was readily available and extremely helpful. This small facility felt very homelike and represents a welcome change from big box hotels. I highly recommend Churchill Guest House.

Our host, Alex, was very welcoming, forthcoming with a lot of useful information and the guest house had lots to offer in terms of breakfast options. Alex was so accommodating, even willing to pick up oat milk as a dairy alternative. The beds were super comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
