Your Dover Bay, Idaho adventure begins at this charming, newly-renovated Cabin in the Woods home. Guests will enjoy relaxing at this serene retreat situated along beautiful wetland preserves and boasting expansive territorial views. This prime location offers miles of scenic walking trails, public beach access to Lake Pend Orielle and a popular, three mile biking trail into downtown Sandpoint. It is also conveniently located for winter activities, with Schweitzer Mountain nearby.

The house features 2 bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms. The master includes a king-size bed with a private full bathroom. A second queen bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom with a tiled shower and washer/dryer. Additional sleeping accommodations, including one twin rollaway bed and one twin Murphy bed, allow 6 people to sleep comfortably. The home also boasts a large screened porch for indoor/outdoor dining and a spacious veranda with outdoor fireplace and ideal southern exposure providing sunlight throughout the day. Beyond the veranda, a generous grassy area surrounds this charming getaway, perfect for an outdoor evening barbecue and games on the lawn.

One car garage suitable for a compact care is available as well as a private, outdoor two-car parking area. The use of two kayaks, which can be launched at the city beach, is included

My husband and I had a wonderful get away to Great Expectations in Dover Bay. We are retired and enjoy traveling to new places. It’s by far our favorite VRBO. It is beautifully updated! The kitchen is very well stocked for prepping meals. The owner thought of everything, even a garlic press! And the back porch was my happy place in the mornings with a hot cup of coffee in front of the outdoor fire overlooking the beautiful natural landscape. It was hard some days to venture out lol.
