We arrived very late in the evening and it was helpful to have sandwiches and tea options available at that time. All staff members I spoke with were friendly, helpful and professional. The food options were vast and extremely tasty. They also have specialty restaurants on site that were equally good. This was my first experience at a RIU property but it won’t be my last.

Hotel: Beautiful location, the staff and service was great. Food: Less to be desired, very bland tasting Specialty Restaurants: Why do you have to make reservations in the two restaurants for buffet-style meals Beach and Pools: These locations are closed two hours before sunset. (WHY!) Noisy: All around the hotel are massive construction projects on both sides and across the street. (BEWARE) All in all it was a nice nine-day stay at the Dubai Riu Hotel

We always stay at Riu in different locations and we love them. This property is located on Dubai island which is 30-60 minutes away from palm island depending on traffic. Unfortunately traffic is is really bad alot of the times. Where there located is very under developed at the moment.

This Riu was excellent, from the minute you enter it was 5 star service. Best All Inclusive stay. super clean and super nice and friendly hosts and workers. Top notch services. Lots of construction but that didn’t bother us.. barely heard any noise.

Riu Dubai had many amenities for any time of the day, for all ages along with such excellent staff. Bepeen being my personal favourite at Oasis bar, incredibly friendly person. I also noticed the attention to detail for accessibility on the beach for people in wheel chairs or babies in strollers as they have these Matt’s laid out for you and makes the beach accessible for all.

This all-inclusive resort was incredible! Food, drinks, service, beach, pools, and rooms were all top notch. Contrary to what some people have said, drinks are NOT watered down and will pack a nice punch. Aside from their typical drinks, I highly recommend you try the drink of the day. In terms of food offerings, they have 4 restaurants (all buffets), a sports bar (beef and chicken burgers, hot dogs, all the fixings, fruits, desserts, and a soda machine), and a snack bar. We mostly at ate the main buffet as it offered many different things each day. They have 3 speciality restaurants: Italian, Lebanese, and Asian. We loved the Lebanese and Asian restaurants. Unfortunately, we missed our reservation to the Italian restaurant due to an unforseen circumstance but hope to try it the next time we visit. Thank you for an exceptional experience Hotel Riu Dubai!

It is a pretty property. Every night my bathroom flooded and they would just have housekeeping come clean it instead of fix the problem. On my last night there I wound up missing my reservation because it flooded into the bedroom area. The beds were very uncomfortable. Easy to get lounge chairs. The pools were nice. A nice family resort. Did not care for the mixed drinks.
