Our stay at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai hotel was superb! Our room on the 28th floor had a perfect view of the Burj (tallest bldg) from the floor-to-ceiling glass wall… the city view was stunning, especially after sunset. Room was super clean and the staff was very conscientious with details… especially when they turn down the beds in the late afternoon… always a pleasant feeling to come back to our room after a long day of sight- seeing or walking in the hot sun. Another highlight was their breakfast… everything was delicious and fresh, especiallybtheir crepes and pastries. ! Also enjoyed their snack hour and happy hour that was included with our room selection. The hotel location can’t be beat if you plan to visit the Dubai Mall… the entrance to the mall is a just a short stroll down the sidewalk from the hotel’s main entrance! Very satisfied with our stay at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai!

Fantastic hotel which was immaculate, it has amazing staff and stunning views from our Club Suite. Great location with Metro literally on the doorstep. Wonderful food, the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with a vast choice and there was a Gluten-Free Station. The children were well-catered for too. Thank you to all staff, everyone was professional, friendly and attentive.

Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and had amazing staff members. Allan was great; he always asked about our day and had excellent customer service skills. Melissa was also great; she made the birthday surprise I had for my friend smooth and easy. I appreciated that. The only reason I gave it 4/5 was because the experience at the spa wasn’t great. I wanted to book a spa service for both my friend and me since it was her birthday, and I always look forward to the spa services everywhere I go. However, when we arrived at the spa, we felt judged. When we asked for the services, it was like we were being rushed out. The atmosphere wasn’t welcoming, which was disappointing because I had an amazing experience at the spa in Sofitel Marrakech and was looking forward to the one in Dubai. Unfortunately, we had to book a spa outside the hotel. Overall, the experience was good, though. All the staff downstairs were amazing, the housekeeping was great, and the breakfast was 10/10. There were many options to choose from, and the restaurant was very beautiful and clean.

Great hotel. Disappointing Service

Amazing hotel and facilities. The service by the breakfast staff is extremely disappointing especially if you are an early bird. Waiting times for anything staff related (e.g. coffee) can be over 20mins which is a real let down. Apart from the breakfast waiting staff, everyone else was great.

Much better places in Dubai for similar price

Issues throughout and not up to Dubai standard. Bathroom was leaking, AC didn’t work in our main room Everyday. Rust in the showers and service was slow.

Our stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown was truly amazing! The customer service was outstanding; the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The highlight for our kids was definitely the bunk beds, which they absolutely loved. Overall, a wonderful family experience and highly recommended.
