The property is set off from transportation unless you are getting a taxi or a shared ride. Dining was ok. We had a 8-10 minute walk to do excursions. The shower door was broken for 3 days, I had to request wash clothes and to have my bedding changed, I told them I would do it myself, because they only change linen every 3 days. It’s not a bad place but I would prefer something more convenient, transportation wise without having to walk so far8-10 minutes is a lot for some people. It wasn’t a bad stay but it just wasn’t what I wanted.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We did have some issues (power outlets don’t work in our room, hair dryer also don’t work and we had hair in the shower walls when we arrived). However we did call an attendant for help with the hairdryer and the outlets and outlets. They couldn’t fix the plugs but gave us free breakfast. Over all good stay.

Location is prime and close to shopping, restaurants and major attractions. Walkable. Checkin personnel was rude the first day and he was also our checkout guy. Other staff at the desk, the five days we were there were very helpful and friendly. Room cleaning was ok and had to put in reminders. Food service at the premise restaurant was slow but they did take care of us with free dessert for the late order delivery. Breakfast selection was ample and we enjoyed that everyday.

It's a decent hotel and it's in a great location, but the way they they structure the hotel is very unusual. I had a room that I couldn't open the window blinds the whole time because people walking down the hall from the elevator could look right into my room

Good area to see shops and nightlife. Staff was very friendly but you have to request room cleaning by 10am. On one occasion we requested a room clean on time to find that our room was not cleaned when we got back that evening.

Very easy check in. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. They helped us understand the mass transit system in Dublin and helpful tips on where to dine and places to visit. Many pubs, dining options and shopping are within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean. We got to the hotel around 11:45 am and we were able to check in early for a small fee. The breakfast was pretty typical with a good selection of breakfast favorites including fruits and pastries. During our visit to Ireland we stayed in 3 different hotels as we travelled the country and this was our favorite. We would highly recommend staying at the Marlin Hotel when visiting Dublin

Lobby, common facilities etc great. Bed was comfortable and bathroom also functional. Room did not have TV remote control and I had to ring reception multiple times (as no answer for many). Room had some visible wear and team (on bedhead and phone was not affixed to wall). Housekeeping also knocked on our door at 9:15am which was a bit unexpected

They turn off the heating/AC four times a day, to be “environmentally friendly”. And no matter how many times the front desk assured me they would “make a note and change it for my room” it never happened. Given the Dublin weather in September, I got a cold very quickly. This should be unacceptable, especially at this price point.

The hotel was nice but the fire alarm went off twice once in the night and once in the morning during our stay with no overhead message from staff indicating whether it was a drill. Both people in our group were given the wrong type of room initially on check in and for one who had paid for a larger room they did not accommodate a change for a couple days. The room advertises having chrome cast/Netflix but this did not work for either of the rooms in our group. Staff was nice and the breakfast was great. Great location. Probably would not stay again as overall things could have gone better.

This was a great option for our three night stay. Well located with good facilities. The room was ideal for our needs although getting into the bed was an age related challenge. The breakfast options were excellent. All staff were friendly and attentive.
