We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Point A Hotel and would stay there again.The staff was friendly and helpful.The room was small but convenient, and it is accessible to the city. We appreciated the technology in the room and the recharging ports. The only thing that could be improved is the pillows. They were too hard for us.

We enjoyed our stay at Point A in Dublin (nearO’Connell st) neither staff was friendly and we enjoyed the food. The drawbacks were the size of the room, the beds, and the cleanliness of our room. The air conditioning and lights were also confusing. It’s still worth a visit.

The srtaff was friendly. Everything was clean and well maintained. This is my 13th European country and this room was by far the smallest. No closest to hang clothes or put suitcases and no refrigerator. We could make due without them but the beds and pillows were hard as a rock making it difficult to sleep.

Pros: right in the middle of Dublin, around the corner from O’Connell Street (Google takes you to Leonardo Hotel next door) Breakfast was good- machine coffee and buffet cold foods. Go early before foods run out Price was good Cons: The pillows are like sleeping on towels wrapped up with a pillowcase- even the ones the housekeeping was replacing some with. For one night it’s bearable, for two pretty uncomfortable if your pillow matters. Such a cheap thing to replace- they need all new pillows! The beds are ok, nothing great. The floors are bare (in general I’m fine with sparse rooms if I can save money) but housecleaning scrapes the beds across the floors when cleaning- a very annoying sound when you’re trying to sleep.

For a short break in Dublin I really enjoyed the no nonsense simplicity of the hotel. A clean modem design that's functional. USB plugs near the supportive bed, quality bedding, tea making facility, strong shower and a good sized TV screen and finally- walking to food and attractions- my usual benchmarks for a good stay, and PointA checked all those boxes. Two things that would have taken it to BEST would be very good sound insulation from neighbouring room and a view. Sadly not with my stay but all in all a great place to stay for a visit to Dublin. Top marks for super friendly staff at check in!

Good property. Very convenient to take the Aircoach to and from the airport. Was a little surprised to find stained towels in the room. Also had a couple of other issues which were all promptly addressed. Hence the 5 stars for service. Bar does not accept cash which I thought was strange. So had breakfast and drinks elsewhere.

Convenient location and could walk everywhere in Dublin. Rooms are quite small and it seems views are limited. The best part was the lovely spread for breakfast AND the great people that work there - very helpful and attentive.
