A good base for the area if you have a car. Easy to use the park and ride at Red Cow LUAS. The family room was big and quiet. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The phone in our room did not work, and I had to call reception using my U.S. cell phone, which added unnecessary cost and inconvenience. Although I was assured the issue would be fixed, nothing was ever done — even after three days. The hotel also overcharged us by nearly two and a half times the standard rate, simply because there was an American football game in Dublin during one day of our stay. This kind of price gouging is unacceptable. As so-called compensation, we were offered a drink voucher for a local beer and a wine spritzer. My wife and I do not drink those types of beverages, and the staff refused to provide an alternative. Later that evening, the manager approached our dining table and gave my wife a vodka tonic — which was appreciated but came after the fact. He acknowledged my concerns and advised me to speak with the morning manager. When I raised the issue with the female manager the next morning, she was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. There was no apology, no follow-up, and no effort to resolve the matter. Overall, our experience was unpleasant, overpriced, and poorly handled by management. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting fair treatment or professional service.

room was clean, apart from a smell of smoke in my room. balcony had fresh cigarette butts on the floor. bed was old and could feel the springs through the mattress. Bar shut at 11:00pm. they close the shutters half way down at 10:45. no chance of a drink at all at 11:10pm. food was good though, staff were friendly.

We thought it was ok … but …

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival and our room seemed acceptable and comfortable, but soon after we went to bed we realised that we were not going to have a good night’s sleep. Our room was directly above the bar and as soon as the band started playing & singing, we could hear every single song, word for word & note for note. Very loud! To make matters worse, the window of our bedroom turned out to be directly above the smoking area/beer garden outside the bar. We could hear all the conversations, and shenanigans of those below. My children found it impossible to sleep. This went on until 2am. We were all exhausted the next morning from lack of sleep. Why put a family with young children into a room located right above the bar and beer garden on a busy Saturday night? We told the receptionist on checkout but she simply said she would pass it on to management. We have heard nothing more.

Good stay.

Very good stay while in town for the NFL game. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The food was very good. Nice buffet breakfast. The bar was lively and fun. Room very comfortable. Would stay again.
