The mountain setting is wonderful. Too bad the place closed for the season days before my arrival! Nobody was there. Office closed. I had been calling ahead all day but no answer. Restaurant and bar closed. No food available. Finally found the maintenance guy. He gave me a key to a cabin and left. The key did not fit the lock. I looked at other cabins and found one with a key in the door and door wide open. It had been recently stayed in but had not been cleaned. Dirty towels - garbage - bed unmade. This is all happening at 9:30 pm, snowing and 30 degrees…. We slept in our clothes and on top of the bed covers at left at 6am the next morning. I’ll bet it’s a nice place when it’s actually open for business.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We called a little after 5PM after the office was closed to let them know we would be arriving late; a little before 10PM and the gentleman on the phone was understanding and very helpful. The cabin was small but had everything we needed for a one night stay. Very quiet and remote.

We loved staying here- in site restaurant was great- we stayed 3 nights and ate there every night. Friendly staff, great food, good specials. Cabins were sweet and a nice place to stay. Rented a ATV close by and had quite and adventure. Highly recommend!

We arrived at Crooked Creek after a long drive from Boise for a one night stay on our way to Mt Rushmore. The drive from the highway to the property is long and I wouldn't want to do it in the dark. I LOVED to property and highly recommend it. I would have liked to spend another day/night just to connect with nature. The cabin was spacious and exceptionally clean. We had dinner in the dining room and the food and service was exceptional. The continental breakfast was very good. I can't say enough about the staff. We had a long talk with the owner, who is very active in making sure everything goes smoothly. Richard

Fun experience staying at Crooked Creek! Comfy, cozy little cabin and the food at the restaurant was excellent! We saw deer from our window twice. It is about a 15 minute drive up a curvy road to get to the ranch. Well worth it though!!

The road to the cabin location was partly gravel, and very rough for normal automobiles. The cabins were very close together. The restaurant was only open from 1600-2300. The cabin was very tiny, and without A/C. The bedclothes were damp. And I mean damp. Very uncomfortable. Bed made our backs hurt. Area around appeared to be for some kind of construction equipment storage. All in all, a great disappointment and not recommended at all.

Wonderful place in a gorgeous setting. Everything was great and very clean and people were very nice. The onsite pub with really good wood-fired pizza was a really nice amenity. Really hope we have the opportunity to return.

Charming, rustic (but entirely functional) cabin. A great bar and grill is on the property, which is very helpful as the road to get to the property is dark and full of switchbacks, so having a great place for dinner and drinks is especially appreciated. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great stay!
