Gruž is a vibrant district in Dubrovnik known for its bustling port, making it the city’s main transportation hub is part of Dubrovnik situated around Gruž bay on the western side of the City. It is the entrance to Dubrovnik. The marina, main harbor, ferry terminal, and main bus station are located there. Because Gruž is situated just below Srđ Hill, in case of taking an apartment there, you need to be aware of lots of steps and uphill walking especially if you take your luggage with you.The most advantage of Gruž is in the vicinity of anything. Local busses that take every few minutes to Old City. Greenmarket, supermarkets, shops, banks, and the main post office are all situated here. Not to forget all transport links to other parts of Dubrovnik as well as to the Islands around Dubrovnik.
