Our room smelled horrible, like wet dog. The matresses were obviously old and the sheets were threadbare. The facilites appear minimally updated. We had other issues also. We would highly NOT recommend this estabishment.

I stayed at the same Econolodge on Monday, 16 June and also on Wednesday, 18 June. I noticed when we got there we were in the upstairs. I told the assistant manager if he could places on the bottom floor for the next visit on the 18th he said he did it right then and there in front of us And the room was OK. We had two king beds. It was fine now on the 18th. He didn’t put the notes in so we had to go upstairs as I’m in my late 60s and my father-in-law‘s 91 and it was two queen beds in each room instead of king And they said they could do nothing because it’s a third-party through Expedia and I’ve heard that many times and that’s why I will not use Expedia anymore and also there was no consequences for this assistant manager who is supposed to put the notes. Not very good service and the clerk couldn’t do a thing. So like I said, I’m very disappointed in this and I will not be using Expedia again. nobody can do anything about anything Paul Morrissey.

This is budget hotel so keeping that in mind, it was an alright stay. We stayed only for a night passing through. The issue for lower score was the condition of the room. The air conditioner was broke and didnt cool well, it was also clogged with dirty filter grime and the filter door was hanging off when we walked in lol right off the bat husband actually had to clean it when, and try to fix it closed. Also, the smell :( room had a strong odor. The air that blew out of the ac was also stinky, regardless his efforts to clean it. Im a budget traveler so im not looking for nothing fancy, just clean. a new air unit (atleast) and ripping the old carpet out would probably do it wonders! Apart from that- check in was good, the complimentary breakfast had really good selection, loved the waffle maker for staying with kids! The pool was small but was nice to have, always a plus with a pool! theres a subway across the street. walkable. All in all, I would stay again if i had to.

The motel is clearly deferring the most basic maintenance of trimming weeds, fixing outside locks and doors, fixing damaged soffits and siding, and replacing mattresses. The mattress was more a bean-bag with a few springs around the edges. Staff was friendly and nice, but that didn’t make me feel any more secure or help me sleep.

It smelled of weed when we arrived in the lobby area. The chair in our room had ripped coverings on its faux leather. There was a staff member sleeping at the breakfast table during breakfast. Only positive was the bed was clean.

Breakfast items out for all 4 days of our stay. No butter, no milk, no eggs, no meat, no cream cheese for the bagels. All staff said was the truck hadn't arrived. We had to eat out breakfast for two days $30 each time. The swimming pool area smelled like mold and mildew. Our bathing suits and hair smelled. We were concerned for our kids safety with the water. Our room smelled like mold and mildew from the air conditioner. The front of the air conditioner didn't close so it sat open and you could see all the buildup on the filter. See picture attached. The windows didn't open, no screen. Mold inside the windows. Lights didn't work, outlets didn't work. We didn't have enough money to book another hotel and wait 2-5 days for a refund. Ok place to sleep

It was ok for sleeping the night. The tv didn’t work with remote, manually turned it on but couldn’t control the volume or anything. The fronk desk tried to get maintenance but never showed up. She gave us 2 more remotes but they didn’t work either. Shampoo was empty in the shower. AC was very loud. The power was out at breakfast so waffle iron and toasters didn’t work. Like I said, ok place to sleep, but lots of issues. No elevator to second floor either. Good thing it was cheap.

We arrived late, so plenty of time to have room ready…we had no towels, soap, bath mat and room was dirty and very run down with patched areas in ceiling and walls!!! We received our towels, and had to return them for clean towels because they were dirty!! Very disappointed!!!
