The room conditions were good. The bathroom door was broken. Unfortunately even though it's a choice hotel there is no breakfast. We were told it's cause some people a while ago ruined it and they no longer wanted to serve breakfast anymore.

Our room was absolutely terrible. The floor was broken all over, the shower didn't have a drain cover, neither of them. The floors were filthy, the furnace was covered with snow & ice, then dripped all over the floor which created a mess, there were no towels in the pool, the pool door didn’t open and when I asked the front desk they said “you have to pull up really hard it’s wonky”. There was chipped paint all over the floor on the way to our room. It smelled really bad in our room too, like nauseating. I asked if we could switch to a different room and they said no because they didn’t have any left. I also asked if we could be refunded or even discounted and they said they’d have to wait to speak to their managers. I just am frustrated. I had two kids with me and my husband and it just was not a great experience. The guy who was working the front desk was incredibly nice though, he apologized when I told him things were working and was helpful as in trying to do his best with what he had. But the rest of the experience was awful.

Comfortable bed, hot top and pool were clean and RJ at the counter was phenomenal! Overall I would recommend and stay here again! Only thing I would change is I wish we would get some kind of meal (doesn't need to be fancy) and coffee or juice in the morning.

Property itself is in disrepair: walls have gouges out of them, peeling paint, mold between the window panes. Lobby was beat up, peeling paint, banged up walls. I cannot imagine any sort of continental breakfast there unless a side serving of food poisoning. We booked two rooms; each was dirty (Hair on and in the tub and behind toilet seat; sheets had stains on them, wasn't sure if they were even clean). No elevator, so stairs to second floor are beat up, rubber edging on the tread loose creating a trip hazard. We immediately checked out and left. Sadly, these were non-refundable and staff only offered us different rooms. Absolutely disgusting and filthy.

I booked this lodge because it had a free breakfast - when we arrived the place is under construction - breakfast was cancelled 3 weeks prior and nobody said anything. No rooms on main floor and the back entry door was never closed due to snow build up - that was not safe. Garbage was piled high and over loaded at that same door. This should be mt every day.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and it was pretty good. This time around they discontinued continental breakfast which I didn’t know. The night prior when we checked in the staff at the front desk told us breakfast opens up at 6:00 am. Heard him say the same thing to the family ahead of us who checked in. Apparently it was discontinued awhile ago. Key card didn’t work for pool and the bed sagged really bad in the middle. My husband kept rolling into me. It was incredibly noisy with kids running up and down halls really late at night and other people talking loudly in the halls between midnight and 4:00am. I wish at check in they’d tell people quiet hours after 10 pm and have a sign at the front desk. Will not ever stay here again. Only good thing was the hot tub was nice and hot and big… once we were able to get into the pool area.

Staff were very courtesy and attentive to our concerns. Rooms need to be updated. They need new flooring and very good cleaning which was evident from the dust and stains and mildew in the corner of the bathtub. Our first room we always check for evidence of bed bugs. The mattress did not have any but had lots of black things in the creases so we brought it to the attention of front desk and was moved to another room.
