Disaster in Carlingford

This was a once off. We thought location was a factor. It turned out to be not as expected. On our first night, there was music in the bar - directly under our room (1) This went on until 00.05. We were told we had quiet room! The room was vibrating with the noise. After which hordes of drunken revellers rolled out onto the street. Shouting and yelling went on for some time. There appeared to be no police prescence. If we were to go to Carlingford again... and that's a big IF - we would stay well outside the town.

The only real issue was the parking. Street parking only which meant a decent walk usually. If you don’t have a rental then it would be better.

Everything was great, staff, food, accommodation but particularly the staff..so naturally friendly and welcoming all of them. A great punt there also.

Beautiful, convenient setting. Very friendly staff. Good food at restaurant. No dedicated parking. Rooms need some attention. Light for bathroom mirror didn’t work. Lots of stairs to climb.
