well maintained property. nice room, lovely bathroom. Good standard of cleanliness. Friendly staff. Noise from outside could be loud as our room looked onto a fairly busy road both traffic and pedestrian. Had our evening meals in hotel. good menu, fair price. Great location for attractions and bus station.

We LOVED staying here! The food was great (especially breakfast and afternoon tea!). The staff was warm and friendly, especially the girls in the restaurant (breakfast and supper) and in particular Joe, the night manager.

Everything about our stay in The City Hotel was great from comfy bed to breakfasts x All staff very friendly and helpful x the only downside for me was the shower x the head was fixed so high up with little pressure with a wide angle spray that i found it hard to rinse my hair properly x

My single room was really comfortable, warm and bright. Breakfast very good. There is a large public car park which is very reasonable if you can’t get into the hotel car park. Only drawback was there is no lift and my room was two floors up! A very enjoyable 6 nights stay.

Great hotel, very central close to the Abbey. We were going to a concert at the Alhambra so very close. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. All staff were excellent. The girl at breakfast was very busy with guests however very helpful and courteous. Nothing was a bother for any of the staff. Would recommend and visit again.
