Independent - accommodation in Dunkeld

Spa needs some maintenance... but other than that our stay was really nice. TV had internet, so we got to watch our Netflix. Room was very spacious and warm with the split system. We had a king sized bed, as well as 2 single beds. Very spacious room. Took us a while to get the spa working, so I left a note that it needs checking out. The 2 rooms next to us were empty. Car park was pretty full, so they had lots of guests staying there. Very quiet and peaceful. Located right across the road from the Botanical Gardens. Located right in the CBD, so you can do all your shopping on foot. Great location....quiet area. No noisy traffic. Was a very nice stay. Will definately visit again. Nearby sights are available if you dont mind a little drive and the outdoors. Beautiful falls and caves nearby. Lots of beautiful nature walks in the area as well. Check in area had a little drinks fridge, couch to sit at, right next to the restaurant. They had local brochures there on what to do while staying in the area. Staff were very helpful and had a good persona. Nice little retreat.

As part of our visit to Australia, my wife and I and another couple did a road trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road and then up to Adelaide. We had a wonderful stay in Hamilton overnight as part of that adventure. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed. Everyone we met in the whole town was friendly and welcoming.

Brief stay, huge room, comfy bed as well as sofa and small table to eat at, so very spacious! Bathroom also very spacious with walk in shower. Would stay here again
