Room very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Glad to see some changes are being made. Rooms are being modernised. Hope outside can be cleaned up.

Old and with historic value lovely place to stay , wonderful staff.
Really friendly, helpful staff. The hotel was right across the road from the car ferry to Gourock, which was the reason we chose it. An old-fashioned, impressive building - but be aware that there is no lift to the upper floors. We had a nice seaview room, and the beds were comfy. Check-in/out was easy too.
