Luxury Family Mountain Townhome - Close to Purgatory - Full remodel in 2024

Welcome to Camp Needles, the base camp for all your mountain adventures. Located at the Needles Townhomes, less than 3 miles away from Purgatory and just minutes away from the endless mountain activities that the San Juan Mountains provide. Remodeled in 2024 our home boasts vaulted ceilings, wood burning stove, expanded kitchen all with high end rustic mountain finishes.

The expanded kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and hickory cabinets stocked with everything you need to feel at home. The dining room comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the adjacent kitchen bar. The bathrooms have been fully remodeled with all new fixtures including a relaxing rain shower at the lower level bathroom. The second level bathroom features dual vanities and an oversized six foot bathtub perfect for soaking after a day's activities. The bedrooms feature carpeting and all tile flooring is heated for comfort.

Each bedroom features king beds. A queen sofa bed is available for use at the living room. The sofa bed features an upgraded mattress and a support board for enhanced comfort. Ceiling fans are installed at each bedroom and living room. Wall mounted Smart TV's at the living room and bedrooms are ready for you to connect to your favorite streaming apps.

There are two decks to enjoy the scenic beauty with sweeping views of the Hermosa Cliffs and Castle Rock. The unit includes a Weber propane barbeque off the rear deck (please note the barbeque may not be available/accessible during the winter as a result of snow shed from the roof).

Needles Townhomes features a scenic and relaxing atmosphere within three miles of Purgatory Ski Resort and approximately 25 miles from both downtown Durango and Silverton. The Needles community offers horseshoes, disc golf, perimeter walking path and a fire pit, all available for use by our guests.

Parking for one vehicle is available adjacent to the unit with additional parking just a short walk away. There is not garage access. This is a non-smoking unit. Pets are not allowed at this unit. Consistent with most homes at this elevation (8900 feet) there is not air conditioning as summer nighttime temperatures will often fall to the 40's. The home remains cool throughout most days and there are ceiling fans in each bedroom and living area.
