It was difficult to Check in but Expedia and the counter worked it out rather quickly, which I appreciate it. The hotel is a great hotel. It’s too bad the owners don’t want to put any money or time into it having their heaters and air conditioners cleaned out and making sure they’re not gonna catch fire. It just needs maintenance and they’re not doing that.. I hate to see good hotels go down because they don’t care

Perfectly good hotel for the weary traveler stuck in Eagle after flight delays. Clean, well appointed and as a woman in her 70s I felt safe. It’s really hard to book a hotel close to the airport and I’m glad I found the Wingate. Oh, and rates were reasonable.

Older hotel and you can tell. Incredibly pricy for a rundown hotel and old a/c and appliances. Front desk person seemed bothered by having to check us in. Window was open when getting to room and the screen on the window was torn and ragged.

The room was clean. There was a big spot of rust on the top of the door frame in the bathroom that really made it seem run down. The juice machine wasn’t working and no waffles available for breakfast. Reheated frozen pancakes and eggs with sausage were the warm options. One frustrating thing was that every time an action occurred on my reservation (room confirmation, pre-check-in, actual check-in and checkout), I received 2 identical emails. All 8 of them were identical and fairly useless. They never showed the activity occurrence nor the price I paid and were useless.

I stayed at this hotel twice in one week. Once at the beginning of the week and once at the end. My first stay was great, 5 stars. My room was on the second floor and very nice. The second time, however, was a totally different experience. My room was on the first floor and smelled, was warm, much smaller, seemed very dirty, and everything was just outdated with poor construction.
