House by the Bay with Large In-ground Pool, Steps from Beach

Have a perfect vacation in our pristine two-story farmhouse style house. There are three bedrooms and two full baths. On the main floor, there is an extra large living room, a large, fully stocked eat-in kitchen, a dining room with sliding doors onto a full deck, a TV/family room, a bathroom with shower and a laundry area with a large washer and dryer. The bedrooms and a large full bath are upstairs.

The house is clean, bright and airy with large rooms, lots of windows and attractive and comfortable furnishings.

The property consists of a flat half acre of beautifully landscaped lawn containing an oversized L-shaped in-ground pool. The pool has a large shallow area with wide steps and a built-in shelf seat. The deep end has a water slide which is fun for everyone.

The house is located across the street from Peconic Bay in East Marion, at the bottom of a quiet horseshoe shaped road with very little traffic. The location is perfect – only two miles to the town of Greenport and all its restaurants, shops and attractions and a short ten minute ride to the quaint village of Orient, Orient Beach State Park and the Orient-New London Ferry.

The immediate neighborhood offers wonderful recreational activities, all easily accessible from the house. The Islands End Golf and Country Club, with driving range and beautiful golf course open to the public, is diagonally across the main road; Sep’s Farm Stand, one of the larger of the many sought after farm stands in the area, is at the top of the hill; the very popular Hellenic Restaurant is within walking distance as well.

You can enjoy a private sand beach on the bay, 500 feet from the front door, if you can bring yourself to move away from relaxing around the backyard pool.

The area is perfect for bike riding and running, with largely flat roads and little traffic. Bring your kayak and take it out from the neighborhood beach.

For adults, the house and the area are a haven of relaxation and privacy. For adults with children, there is an abundance of things to do for kids even if you decide to stay right in the neighborhood. Between hours of fun in the pool, the beach, playing in the big yard and walking to the farm stand for delicious vegetables and corn, your children’s days will be full and fun-filled.
