We felt very welcome, the staff were excellent. The place feels comfortable, warm and homely. Quite dated but for the money the plus's outweigh the minus's. We would definitely stay again!

We had a really pleasant stay here for the night while visiting local attractions. The room was very clean, quiet and well-maintained. Some areas were in the need of updating but still good. We had the dinner, bed and breakfast deal, and everything was delicious. Good value for money, staff that were friendly and welcoming, and plenty of parking available.

Plenty of parking ( large car park round the back). Staff very helpful , bar and bear good, room good size, clean ,but carpet and decoration a little tired. Also fire doors in the corridors slammed. Also fan in bathroom did not work,reported to hotel.
