Best thing was the view. Looked right at the fireworks at eye level. Tha great big bathroom with the Jacuzzi bathtub was very nice too. We had a fridge, stove, and utensils and pans too. When we had to check out early because of a family emergency they were very gracious.

Selina was wonderful! She gave us a ride to our room a mile up hill and picked us up in the morning! The other guy at the desk said they didn’t have a shuttle and told us to go online to find our room. The pool closed at 6pm disappointing. Food was great. Just don’t try bringing your family of 28 on a Wednesday evening. They laughed at us!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, quiet, and the location was great, especially for exploring Moran State Park. The only reason for 4 stars is that it doesn’t feel like a traditional resort. It has more of a condo or Airbnb vibe, everything is spread out, and you’ll need to drive to get to most places, including the beach. If you’re expecting a luxury resort, you may be disappointed. The staff was friendly, and having the marina, restaurant, and whale watching tours nearby was convenient, although the marina isn’t owned by the resort and some of the dock staff weren’t very welcoming. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to stay and a great home base for exploring Orcas Island. Just come with the right expectations, and you’ll likely enjoy it as much as we did.

Read mixed reviews when deciding to book our stay. Everything in our room was new and clean. Gorgeous bay view with the sound of a waterfall from our deck. The waterfall picnic area was a wonderful surprise. The only thing I would add for the staff, is to leave the hall light on for quests to find our rooms and keypad. Wonderful stay, thank you!

The waterfront location was very nice and peaceful, however, room updates would make this venue more desirable. When booking, we were under the impression this was a part of the Moran Mansion property (which at one time it may have been, but not anymore). The mansion is now closed and owned by a new owner who is renovating. The booking site was somewhat unclear on some details, but staff were kind and helpful.

We stayed in a deluxe suite, it was obviously recently done and looked immaculate, including linens and towels; the suite had 2 balconies with view over the bay. On the negative side there were no restaurants open in Rosario but Eastsound is a less than a 10 minute drive and there were several there. Very close to Moran Nationalpark, plenty of hiking and scenery; the Moran mansion however is closed.
