Room 107 Roach in a bathtub, Bed sheets with stains, Noisy bed (made out tin can?) Loud AC/heater - I couldn’t sleep Damaged hairdryer electric plug that poses a danger for electrocution, Vent in the bathroom not working The bathtub faucet is coming out of the wall - leakage The light in the bathroom - dull. The breakfast - this part is the best, they give you a bread and the toaster but nothing to spread on it, coffee carafe empties fast and no refill.

They go in your room when you are not there. If you knock on a door and nobody answers that doesn’t mean come on in. Lord only knows what they are doing in there. Probably going through your things.. we asked for clean sheets the managers told us the sheets were brand new but they had a yellow tint to them as if they had been using them for years. In the process of flipping back all of the sheets making sure they didn’t have any bed bugs. There were 2 blood stains at the bottom of the sheets in room 129 that they had covered up. The carpet in there is so filthy you don’t want your bare feet to touch it. There was also a strong smell of mildew in there as if the whole floor had been wet before. The pool was cloudy and full of debris and bugs. The photos they post online for you to see looks decent compared to what you actually will be getting. I don’t recommend anyone stay here. It was $167 per night and for that price it isn’t worth it at all because you won’t be comfortable. Horrible place to stay.

Safe and close to Downtown

Roaches were very visible and to show you i am not just high maintenance, we didnt leave or demand a refund. They were teeny tiny roaches. We killed about 20, they were on the floor, desk, and bathroom. The check in was great and the guy offered a free up grade on the ground foor because he saw my mother was handicap. We declined because she is capable of going upstairs. The room is older and not pretty, old paint, clean furniture. We were looking for somewhere safe and close to downtown Edenton. If you are having a romantic getaway, this is NOT it. Breakfast was a loaf of bread,a turnstyle container of corn flakes, 3 ripe bananas, and a half gallon used milk and butter. We chose not to eat there. It was safe and quiet. There were used cans of modelo and cigerette butts in the stairwell the next morning when checked out but we didnt hear a peep. This was 5 min from all the places in downtown Edenton.

Check-in was handled smoothly after a change had been made after reservations. Previous guests tried to take advantage of continental breakfast but staff handled the situation appropriately.
