The hotel was great but the free breakfast did not happen because the chef never showed up on my first morning there, and I had to miss out on the next morning because of work calling in early. As for the people and room it was great I would recommend.

I wrote privatelyWe booked the hotel and made a mistake by not selecting that our two children will be with us. I had simply searched for a reasonable hotel with good reviews and selected a room that had two beds to accommodate us for two nights.  After a long drive, we arrived at the hotel and the lady at the desk explained that our room was only booked for two adults. I explained the error and requested her kind consideration. She explained the policy and stated that there will be an additional charge of $50 for our kids. I told her we couldn't afford it and exposure had we would be okay without breakfast coupons for all of us. She further explained that it was not about the breakfast coupons; we needed to pay for the extra persons in the room. I pleaded with her and she was kind enough to allow us to check in. She gave me one breakfast coupon for two adults and I said to her, we are staying for two nights. She checked it on her system, but she didn't give us the second coupon. I didn't push it because I was tired and exhausted. Essentially, we should have gotten at least another coupon for the two adults. I figured afterwards that probably that was her way of compromising.  My husband and son went to get breakfast the following mornin

The Edmonton Hotel & Covention Centre is our go to place every time we visit YEG which we do about 10-15+ nights a year. Spacious rooms and a quiet heating & cooling system with very comfortable beds (we get some very good rest here!) help make every visit a good one. Staff is very helpful as well.

Room was dirty and had no toilet paper had to call 4 times to finally get some an hour later . Sheets where dirty and stained and the blankets where as thin as a sheet, room was small and the beds where uncomfortable had a 2 night stay and left after the first night. Still waiting on confirmation of refund for second night not stayed.
