Mother daughter trip

Stay was good. Hotel is beautiful. The only two complaints I have are that the door on the bathroom in the room did not sit tight to the wall so you could so in both sides making it impossible to have privacy. Also the shower floor was insanely slippery and I was super concerned my daughter would slip. Very dangerous. Otherwise we had a good stay. Hotel is in a prime location and it was quiet and staff was friendly.

The hotel was very clean and presented well. The pool was nice and had a slide. There was also a nice outdoor patio area attached to the pool area. Rooms were very nice.

So the hotel itself is nice and because it was a wedding I had family staying in other rooms who said they are quite nice it’s possible that my rooms condition was random, but I felt like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last stay - too many things just didn’t seem right! I think the most annoying thing was I was offered an upgrade for 32.00 a night prior to my stay which I agreed to however that put me in a pet room on the pet floor and I had no pet, so that certainly doesn’t make a bit of sense to me. The room could be very nice with some proper housecleaning and a few repairs I’m sure but the green marker all over the couch and the fridge leaking was just too much for me to write a good review, I am sorry but…. The hotel has reached out to my concerns as stated the first night I arrived, my daughter took a message in regard to some sort of compensation however I am yet to see that on my credit card. .

This is second time we have stayed here in the past two years. I like how they have good fresh coffee and tea each morning (wish it was all day) I like cleanliness and the location. I found bed softer last year… wish we had same room.
