Worse “hotel” I have ever been too, it like a jail cell with a tiny window and noisy fan. The bathroom is dirty and tiny. The hallways and elevator is tiny and terrible. Never going back. Suppose to have breakfast , when you get to the breakfast room there is no food and there is still an hour to go. Wow. Absolutely horrible. Will never book at any travel lodge again. First and last. We chose this hotel because it was a water park for the kids. Non existent, it was “under construction” in the height of summer with absolutely no work being done on it. The games room had 3 games and the outside area was for dogs only. Not a play area for the kids. Just terrible.

The pictures of this hotel do not reflect what the actual hotel looks like. I reserved the hotel based on the photos, location and amenities. The pool and hot tub area as well as the water itself was dirty and not maintained. The towels at the pool are the size of large hand towels. The water slide is closed and has been for several months if not more by the sounds of it. The reviews on the complementary breakfast were terrible so we didn’t even attempt it. The amenities advertised for this hotel that would attract people to this hotel are poor (pool and complementary breakfast). Hallways are dingy and smell of cigarette smoke and stale air (poor ventilation). Hotel room was not maintained cracks in the bathroom wall, metal stripping coming off the wall and major drainage issues with the toilet and sink. The only lights in the room are lamps. Cleanliness was sub par. Room Carpets have not been cleaned and maintained. Room card deactivates if it is close to a phone and therefore requires several trips to the front desk to re activate. Hotel facility itself is in some major need of repairs and upkeep. Overall atmosphere with children did not feel safe. Very difficult to get a hold of the hotel front desk via phone and only one front staff working making the check in process time consuming. The only pros to this hotel was location to west Edmonton mall and friendly staff. Was not worth the $150/night.

The pictures of this hotel are deceiving. They make the property look much nicer than it is. There were sketchy people hanging outside the front door, the water slide was closed (which isn’t mentioned until after booking), the pool and hot tub were not very clean, there was garbage in the hallways, housekeeping only made 1 of the 2 beds and didn’t replenish the shampoo or conditioner. The toilet in our room made a running water noise the entire time and the mini fridge made a high-pitched fan squealing noise. We also had to listen to guests around us fighting, and security had to be called at 3 in the morning to break it up. The breakfast area is tiny and a mess and not much options. We ended up going across the street to Tim Hortons.

Online it showed the pool which looks really nice but when we got there the pool with the slide was closed for repairs within 1 hour of being there we had to evacuate do to a fire alarm. One of the beds support beam was broken and there was a weird lady who obviously didn’t stay there as we seen her wondering outside late at night she followed us into the elavator and up to our room to the point where I followed her back out to make sure she left the building

It was very dated. There was an ill fitting roller shade but proper curtains. No proper closet. You could see light around the A/C that was stuck in the wall. The pool was 3/4 full, the hot tub water was sketchy, the water slide was taped off. On the good side the front desk was amazing, it was clean, the beds seemed ok. We didn’t end up staying and checked out.

Disappointing stay. The “included breakfast” had barely any options — no fruit, bagels, etc — and we were told we couldn’t make a second waffle, even though it was the only edible thing available. Our room only had three pillows and none were available when we asked for more. The pool was poorly maintained, and the slide was out of service with no notice. Outdoor seating shown in photos wasn’t set up, even though the weather was great. Also, the bathroom toiletries were falling off the wall. We chose this hotel specifically for the advertised breakfast and pool, and felt misled.
