You can get to know the dunes by bike. You are only 3 km from the city centre with several restaurants, shopping facilities and supermarkets. The beaches of Egmond aan Zee and Bergen aan Zee are among the finest in Netherlands and can be reached via the North Holland Dune Reserve, where you can see with your own eyes how the Dutch dune landscape has formed over the centuries. Alkmaar, popularly known as Europe's cheese city, is 11 km away and offers a lot of culture.

The animal-friendly house is fully equipped. The spacious garden has a nice seating area and there is play equipment for kids, and bicycles in the shed

The Amsterdam Schiphol airport is only 40 km away.
